Fall classes: Relief Printmaking: Part 1 and Part 2 Honolulu Museum Art School

Part 1: September 19 - October 24,-Tuesdays 9am - noon

This class is an overview of traditional relief printmaking using reductive and multiblock methods.

Participants will learn the fundamentals of linocut and woodcut printmaking to create original prints.  Proper carving, inking and printing techniques will be demonstrated.

Supply Fee: $25 supply fee paid to instructor

Part 2: November 07 - December 12, Tuesdays 9am - noon

A review of traditional relief printmaking and the introduction of experimental relief printing methods. Participants will be given the opportunity to try innovative printmaking techniques with an emphasis on creativity. Great class for new and returning printmakers.
